Happy New Year to you! We hope that you have been enjoying the holiday season and that 2008 will be an amazingly
abundant year for all of you.

Please check out our blog on http://tashanda-africa.blogspot.com/ . This month we completed the story of our
visit to the Hatcliffe nursery school in Harare. It was so moving that Tashanda has committed to do something to
help. We are appealing to all of you to join us in helping to develop this school. We saw the poverty first hand and it
was terrible. We felt ashamed too because we knew what a simple task it would be to make a difference.
What we saw illustrated the unfairness of life...
We met the most amazing children who were cheerful & proud in spite of what they lacked...
In fact, we cannot put into words the vast contrast between the life of a child in Africa versus the life of a child
elsewhere. Please read our blog and paint your own picture. Comments, feedback and suggestions on how we can
make a difference are welcome.

New Shipment of Kudhinda Fabrics:
Many people already know about Kudhinda products, having visited or lived in Zimbabwe, where they have shops in
Harare and Victoria Falls. The Kudhinda product range can be used very effectively in retail stores, and for
African Interior Design, particularly for hotels, lodges and guest houses.
Their fabrics can also be combined to create a very unique & contemporary African interior.
Valentine's Day
No, we don't mean to be over-zealous since Valentine's day is so far away, but please consider that we may have to
ship from Zimbabwe if we don't have your order available locally. The price will be the same, so don't worry about
that either. Shona sculpture is our favorite Valentine's gift choice. Why? It's SOLID, it's STRONG, it's UNIQUE,
it's BEAUTIFUL.
