Authentic African Dolls from Zimbabwe
Each Doll is hand-made by Zimbabwean artist Trish
Syer. The dolls depict women at work - walking from th e
chicken coop with chicken (huku) and eggs (mazai),
returning from the market with a live chicken, a trader
with basketry and grass brooms for sale, and a trader of
crocheted items, and another trader with more basketry.
These are all very common sights, especially in rural
Zimbabwe. Each doll has a baby secured to its back.

Approximate measurements are 20cm (8 inches) tall x
5cm (2 inches).wide. Each one is secured on a doll
stand.
